Business Telecommunications Systems Account Executive
Purpose & Scope
This position provides representation of Certified Alarm to potential and existing customers. The ultimate objective is to increase profits by increasing sales of Certified Alarm Telecommunications Products and Services.
Propose, design, consult and sell Certified Alarm products and services in our service territory.
Collect account receivables of jobs sold.
Attend Job-site and inter-office meetings as necessary.
Coordinate with Certified Alarm technicians on system installation and design issues.
Create and maintain relationships with prominent members of the business community.
Learn all product and service fundamentals, of system types and services, you may offer.
Participate in 32 hours of classroom style continuing education in sales and/or product annually.
Perform end-user training of Certified Alarm Systems and Services.
Have dependable automobile with Auto liability insurance.
Be able to meet with customers, or prospective customers, anytime, day or night.
Respond to sales leads generated by Certified Alarm. Create new sales leads by your own initiatives.
Performs other related duties as required or directed by Certified Alarm President.
Education – High School Diploma, excellent communications (written and verbal).
Computer – Basic keyboarding (45 wpm) and a working knowledge of Windows 95 through
2000.
Reasoning Ability – Ability to define problems, collect & retain data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Other – Must be capable of working in stressful situations, able to handle frequent interruptions, and be able to consistently work productively with people of all education levels and economic backgrounds.
Auto Allowance & Cell Phone Allowance Pending acceptable record keeping and reporting.
Health Insurance – BCBS major medical available after 90 days. CA contributes 75%.
401k – Available after one year. CA contributes jointly.
