ESI, IVX. Changing Message
on Hold (MOH) selections.
On any ESI phone within the system, press PROG/HELP. (Note: If using an ESI Feature Phone that has separate PROGRAM and HELP keys, press PROGRAM.) The normal station programming menu prompt will begin to play.
Stop the prompt by pressing PARK (or, on a newer ESI phone, HOLD).
Enter the System Administrator Password. (default "456#")
Press "6" for prompt recording.
Press "3" to record the Message on Hold.
Press "1" to select the Message on Hold source,
This selects the source that will be played to callers on hold.
590 Live external source (Radio/CD Player etc.)
591 Pre-recorded music
592 Pre-recorded with “Please continue to hold” Default: (generic message-on-hold).
593 Pre-recorded with “Dial 0 or extension from hold”
594-598 Custom recorded messages (code varies with systems)
or Press "3" for MOH Volume.
The output volume for the pre-recorded MOHs can be adjusted in this function.
Range: 1 (faint)–12 (loudest). Default: 6.
Note: If an external audio source (590) such as a radio is used for MOH, adjust the volume at the source. (radio)
Press the speaker key to hang-up when finished.
