Security Systems 
The D6600 NetCom System™ combines the features of the D6600 Digital
Central Station Receiver/ Gateway with the power and advantages available
from alarm communications over a Data Network (specifically, any LAN
(Local Area Network) or WAN (Wide Area Network) compatible with TCP/IP
protocol, and the Internet). Alarm panels from Bosch and almost all other
panel manufacturers can now send FULL DATA messages via both Digital
Dialers and the LAN/WAN or Internet to one D6600 Receiver/Gateway. The
Data Network's communications link is supervised continuously, and
telephone line communications over the public telephone network is
built-in as a backup means of communications in case the LAN/WAN or
Internet connection is lost. This capability is achieved through the use
of Bosch' patented C900 Dialer Capture Module or D9133 Serial Interface
Module. Remote Programming is accomplished over the LAN/WAN or Internet
with Bosch' 7000/9000 Series panels, or over the public telephone network
with other panels. The bandwidth consumed from supervision is so small
that many thousands of alarm panels can be monitored without creating a
significant impact on the network. The D6600 NetCom System is U.L. Listed
for Burglary and Fire applications. |
