Central Station Disaster Recovery Plan

Our UL listed Central Station has teamed with SIMS (our Central Station Software provider) to provide Disaster Recovery support. Each night our database is compressed, encrypted and sent  to secure storage servers at the SIMS Inc. disaster recovery site in Dallas via daily Internet transfers. In the event of an emergency Certified can forward all of our Central Stations telephone lines using BellSouth's CrisisLink and activate the SIMS Disaster Recovery plan and continue to monitor our customers systems in less than 15 minutes. SIMS will provide the monitoring staff until we can relocate our operators to the designated  backup site, then our operators assume the duties with remote monitoring via the Internet.
