CENTRAL STATION OPERATOR

 

Purpose & Scope

This position performs critical response procedures for central station services subscribers. 

 

Responsibilities

Enter and process customer account data as instructed.

Perform with a very professional telephone voice and manner. 

Attend inter-office meetings as necessary.

Coordinate with Certified Alarm technicians on system installation and maintenance issues.

Perform other related duties as required or directed by Central Station Manager.

 

Qualifications Required

Education – High School Diploma, excellent communications (written and verbal).

Computer – Basic keyboarding (45 wpm) and a working knowledge of Windows 95 through

2000.

Reasoning Ability – Ability to define problems, collect & retain data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Other – Must be capable of working in stressful situations, able to handle frequent interruptions, and be able to consistently work productively with people of all education levels and economic backgrounds. 

ABI / FBI / DSS / background check is mandatory.

Must be available to work any shift.

 

Compensation

Gross, Annual Base Salary - $7.00 - $9.00 per hour.  

 

BENEFITS LISTED BELOW ARE AVALIBLE ONLY TO FULL TIME EMPLOYEES. 

Health Insurance – BCBS major medical available after 90 days.  CA contributes 75%.

401k – Available after one year. CA contributes jointly.

Vacation – 12 months through 60 month – 5 days, per year. After 60 months 10 days per year.

Paid Holidays – Jan. 1, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Sick Days – Presently, three per year.  Certified Alarm President may allow additional sick days, pending review of existing situation and related external and internal circumstances.
